Skiing on the other side of the world

Finally I have what I was looking for. Finally we have managed to do some skiing in Korea. Some of you do not know that there is even a winter here but actually there is very, very cold in February. There are several ski resorts. We choose YongPyong all season resort which is about 3 hours bus ride from Seoul. We got up very early (4 AM.) and started skiing about 9 AM. YongPyong is the biggest and the best resort in Korea. There are 31 various slopes and 15 ski lifts. Mostly quite old ski chairlifts. One can also find a golf course and aqua park in the same location. It all looks like a huge theme park rather then mountain village. Slopes were very well prepared but we can not say the same about rental skis. The edges seems to be rounded with purpose. No grip at all. Fortunately it was not crowded. We had a lot of fun. Our team of 3 skiers and 2 snowboarders consisted of: Sophie, Kristo, Piotrek, Maciek and Me. We will definitely go there once again in a few weeks. Another important information is that today I bought tickets to Singapore. Me and Piotrek are going to meet Monika and Mikołaj. We will stay there for one week in the beginning of March. It will be a nice contrast because today the difference in temperature between Korea and Singapore was about 43 degrees. We will also travel a little bit in Indonesia. Tomorrow I will upload some photos from ski resort.
