Although I am not a big fun of football (or soccer for Americans), I really wanted to see a game on the World Cup Stadium in
Seoul. Today, just after I came back from Thailand Piotrek asked me whether I would like to go. The incentive was pretty simple and obvious. He said: We are skipping Korean classes, wanna join? Because I have already mastered skipping policy I agreed after a millisecond of thinking process.
There were not to many fans (less than 8.000), however it is very difficult to fill up such a huge arena which used to be a home for final game of World Cup. Atmosphere was great for the first 30 minutes. Then Jeju United (ranked 4th in the league) scored. After another 30 minutes it was even worse because they scored again and fans of FC Seoul (5th in the table) were very disappointed. It ended up 2:0 for Jeju. Even though my team (cause I am from Seoul) lost, it was still a fantastic evening. Later I discovered that there is a new discount in McDonald’s so the day was great.
Thailand is coming soon (I mean blog) and selected photos from Busan and the rest from Japan. I can reveal one secret. Thailand was one of the best trips of my life and it is not because it is so easy to get laid thereJ
